Provide professional administration and finance support for the Education Strategy Portfolio.

As Administration and Finance Officer, you will work collaboratively with the senior leadership team to provide effective and efficient administrative and financial functions for the Education Strategy Portfolio. You will thrive in customer-service environment to ensure outstanding services are provided to internal and external stakeholders.

 

The ability to organise, support and promote a range of face to face and virtual meetings, activities, professional development programs and events to ensure success are critical skills for you to thrive in this position. Your capacity to engage with people, respond to feedback and build trust will make the Education Strategy a portfolio that is easy to liaise with.

 

Prior experience in processing financial transactions (purchase orders, credit card reconciliation, reimbursements), travel bookings, preparation of meeting agendas/minutes and high level digital literacy skills will be highly regarded as will exposure to monitoring budget expenditure and interpreting financial reports.

 

A high standard of professionalism, initiative and strong organisational skills will be required to successfully manage the competing demands of the role. 

 

Completion of a post-secondary qualification and relevant experience in administration and finance (or an equivalent combination of experience/training/education) is a requirement of this position.
