Lead and manage a team to provide direction on diverse operational matters within Central Australia.

We are a new world university. Like our namesake, Charles Darwin, we think differently. We innovate, embrace change, challenge conventions and look for better ways. We’re not about tradition or legacy, privilege or exclusivity. We care about people as individuals, and about our wider society. We’re about what we can give to the world, rather than what we take. We cannot build a new world without diversity of thought, so we bring together people with unique perspectives in an inclusive and supporting learning environment to help them connect, discover and grow. This is the CDU difference.

As Regional Operations Manager – Central Australia, you will be responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of site operational services across a broad range of functions, including budget, risk and resource management, human resources and Work Health and Safety within Central Australia. Essentially, accountability within this position spans all regional administrative, operational and business processes to ensure a prompt, effective and quality service that supports regional staff and stakeholders.

Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills will enable you to establish productive working relationships with internal, external and international organisations, and negotiate with influence on matters relating to the organisational direction and area priorities.

Completion of a postgraduate qualification in Business Management (or related discipline) and extensive experience in administration and budget management will be essential. You will also demonstrate strong leadership and management skills and the ability to manage large and diverse operational functions, displaying initiative, creativity and innovation.
