About the Position
As a Lecturer – ICT and Digital you will contribute to the teaching effort of programs provided by the Commerce and ICT Team. You will prepare, deliver and assess students to the competency standards of the Business Services (BSB) or Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Training Packages in line with best teaching practices and industry standards within a team environment. 
You will facilitate competency-based training using various delivery modes, including face-to-face, mixed-mode, workplace-based, external and online delivery for students enrolled in qualifications within the BSB and ICT and training packages.

About You
To be successful, you will require:

  • Current qualification equivalent to a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or its successor) and the ability to obtain competencies in additional core units as required.
  • Possess education, training and/or relevant industry experience equivalent to completing a Vocational qualification in Information and Communications Technology (ICT)
  • Demonstrated experience providing training within an educational institution or within a workplace.
  • Experience in researching and developing training tools to meet the needs of students and/or industry clients as per ASQA requirements
  • Demonstrated high-level interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including communicating culturally sensitively with internal and external stakeholders to whom English may not be the first language.
  • Demonstrated experience working independently and as part of a team.
  • Competency with the Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software packages.

Remuneration 
Appointment to this role will be at Teaching Focused Academic Level A. The base salary will be in the range of $72,702 to $109,071 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $85,061 to $127,613 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
