Provide administrative support to the Pro Vice-Chancellor, Faculty of Arts and Society.

About the Position
As the Executive Assistant you will provide administrative support to the Faculty of Arts and Society Pro Vice-Chancellor and the Faculty Manager. The role is a key contact in the Pro Vice-Chancellor’s office and requires a high level of confidentiality, initiative, discretion, and judgement and the ability to interact with senior staff and external stakeholders.

About You
To be successful, you will require:

  • Completion of a Diploma in Business or a related area with two years subsequent experience, or education, training and/or relevant experience and /or a combination of recent relevant work experience in office administration, particularly executive support.
  • Proven effective administrative skills at executive level, with the ability to prioritize workloads, to maintain confidentiality and attention to detail.
  • Experience with financial administration systems.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with a high-level command of English grammar. 
  • Demonstrated high level interpersonal skills and ability to engage effectively with senior management, staff, clients, and other stakeholders in a respectful and culturally appropriate manner.
  • Proven initiative and organizational skills of a high order, together with the ability to work independently and flexibly to complete tasks within required timeframes and engage in effective teamwork.
  • Proven high level of digital literacy particularly in data management and the use of MS Office suite and video conferencing.

Remuneration 
Appointment to this role will be at Professional Employee Level 5. The base salary will be in the range of $72,061 – $83,249 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $84,311 - $97,401 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
