Prepare and deliver teaching activities for the undergraduate social work course at CDU
About the Position
As an Associate Lecturer in Social Work, you will focus on the preparation and delivery of teaching activities within the Faculty of Health undergraduate social work course, contributing to the development of curricula and utilising professional and discipline-related expertise in social work to deliver high-quality teaching. You will design and implement learning activities including lectures, tutorials, assessments and provide timely feedback to students whilst adopting appropriate teaching approaches (including face-to-face, intensives, online and blended learning) to promote student learning, experience, retention and outcomes.
About You
To be successful you will require:
- Bachelor of Social Work or Master of Social Work (Qualifying) or equivalent required
- Minimum of 2 years post qualifying practice experience as a social worker required
- Member of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) required
- Post-graduate teaching qualification desired

Remuneration
Appointment to this role will be at Teaching Focused Academic Level A and the base salary will be in the range of $72,702 to $109,071 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $85,061 to $127,613 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
