Apply your knowledge of the Electrotechnology industry and world best practice teaching strategies to help develop CDU students.

We are a new world university. Like our namesake, Charles Darwin, we think differently. We innovate, embrace change, challenge conventions and look for better ways. We’re not about tradition or legacy, privilege or exclusivity. We care about people as individuals, and about our wider society. We’re about what we can give to the world, rather than what we take. We cannot build a new world without diversity of thought, so we bring together people with unique perspectives in an inclusive and supporting learning environment to help them connect, discover and grow. This is the CDU difference.

As a VET Lecturer / Workplace Assessor - Electrotechnology, you are accountable for the development and delivery of training whilst working under the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) and the VET Quality Framework and to the competency standards of the Electrotechnology Training Package; this includes facilitating competency based training using a range of delivery modes including face-to-face, mixed-mode, workplace based, external and online delivery that consider student learning abilities.

Your demonstrated commitment to personal and professional development and maintenance of contemporary knowledge within the education and training sector will ensure your success in the role.

Ideally you will hold a recognised relevant Electrotechnology trade qualification, relevant and significant post-trade experience and a current NT Electrical Licence (or the ability to obtain). A current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116), or higher-level qualifications in adult education is a requirement for this position.
