About the Role
As a VET Lecturer/Workplace Assessor – Construction, you are responsible for the development and delivery of training to the competency standards of the Construction, Plumbing and Services Training Package. This will involve delivery of training programs through flexible learning environments including, classrooms and/or workplace environments either on or off campus and remote areas of the Northern Territory. 


About You
To be successful, you will hold:

  • A trade qualification in construction or carpentry and relevant post trade workplace experience
  • The willingness to obtain a qualification equivalent to a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116)
  • Experience providing training within a workplace setting or educational institution will be highly regarded but is not essential
  • High-level interpersonal and communication skills, a passion for construction/carpentry and an engaging presentation style
  • Enthusiasm and personal motivation to train and inspire students to succeed
