Apply your passion for developing the next generation of clinical psychologists in Australia.

We are a new world university. Like our namesake, Charles Darwin, we think differently. We innovate, embrace change, challenge conventions and look for better ways. We're not about tradition or legacy, privilege or exclusivity. We care about people as individuals, and about our wider society. We're about what we can give to the world, rather than what we take. We cannot build a new world without diversity of thought, so we bring together people with unique perspectives in an inclusive and supportive learning environment to help them connect, discover and grow. This is the CDU difference.

The College of Health and Human Sciences at Charles Darwin University is evolving. We are strengthening our portfolio of flourishing programs; with a strong research base and exceptional community links, we are increasing opportunities for students in a range of programs. We are looking for people to join our successful teams - to innovate, to create, to develop and lead our new and exciting programs. This role will both challenge and reward, offer flexibility and career development. It comes with genuine work-life balance, which will allow you the time to explore some of Australia's best-kept secrets that are right here on Darwin's doorstep.

For further information on the College of Health and Human Sciences please visit our Website or download a copy of our Recruitment Brochure. Job-share or fractional appointments are welcome.

As Lecturer/Senior Lecturer – Clinical Psychology, you will make an independent contribution in teaching and research as well as contributing to the ongoing development of the college as a flexible and responsible provider of high-quality teaching and learning.  You will be involved in the development and delivery of course units as well as delivering clinical supervision to students as required and in line with professional body requirements.

To be successful, you will have a relevant postgraduate qualification or higher in clinical psychology, be endorsed to practise as a clinical psychologist in Australia and be an approved Board supervisor. You will have an understanding of the university learning environment, equity programs and providing supportive education to people from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds. The ability to represent the university at a range of forums, and to liaise, communicate, negotiate and collaborate with clients, stakeholders and partners will also be beneficial to your success.
