About the Position
As Lecturer / Senior Lecturer – Audiology Clinical Education Coordinator your primary purpose is to build the teaching and research profile of audiology within the College and to make a significant contribution to the discipline both at the NT and national level. This will involve applying your clinical expertise to undertake independent teaching, conduct research and participate in the development of existing teaching units (courses) and the creation of new and innovative programs/units including those intended for off-campus and flexible delivery. 

 

This appointment will involve clinic coordination, clinical supervision of students enrolled in the Master of Clinical Audiology program, oversight of clinical education and coordination of clinical educators/supervisors and student progress.

 

In both research/scholarship and teaching, you will foster excellence and make original contributions which will expand knowledge or practice in your discipline.

 

About You
To be successful, you will possess:

  • A Master of Clinical Audiology (or equivalent) and current clinical registration with either Audiology Australia or the Australian College of Audiology
  • Extensive clinical experience in Audiology across a variety of diagnostic and rehabilitative settings
  • Experience in clinical placement supervision and clinical education of Audiology students
  • The ability to work collaboratively in the development of contemporary educational programs
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and well-developed time management and organisational skills
