Leverage relationships to identify and secure regional business opportunities for CDU within the Central Australian region.

We are a new world university. Like our namesake, Charles Darwin, we think differently. We innovate, embrace change, challenge conventions and look for better ways. We’re not about tradition or legacy, privilege or exclusivity. We care about people as individuals, and about our wider society. We’re about what we can give to the world, rather than what we take. We cannot build a new world without diversity of thought, so we bring together people with unique perspectives in an inclusive and supporting learning environment to help them connect, discover and grow. This is the CDU difference.

As the Industry Engagement and Development Officer, you will develop and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders (project proponents, government agencies, industry bodies), and leverage those connections to identify and understand industry trends and regional and remote business opportunities for Charles Darwin University in Central Australia.

As a central point of contact, you will share your insights with university program managers on potential opportunities and assist delivery teams with the coordination, development and implementation planning of rural delivery. This role will suit a skilled collaborator, with a keen commercial acumen and an innovative and creative approach.

You will possess education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to a degree level qualification with extensive relevant experience or management expertise in a relevant field. Prior experience in the tertiary sector and demonstrated contemporary knowledge of the challenges and opportunities faced within NT remote and regional communities will be highly regarded.
