Apply your business management experience in the day-to-day operations of the College of Health & Human Sciences

We are a new world university. Like our namesake, Charles Darwin, we think differently. We innovate, embrace change, challenge conventions and look for better ways. We’re not about tradition or legacy, privilege or exclusivity. We care about people as individuals, and about our wider society. We’re about what we can give to the world, rather than what we take. We cannot build a new world without diversity of thought, so we bring together people with unique perspectives in an inclusive and supporting learning environment to help them connect, discover and grow. This is the CDU difference.

The College of Health and Human Sciences at Charles Darwin University is evolving (for further information on the College please visit our Website or download a copy of our Recruitment Brochure.) We are strengthening our portfolio of programs; with a strong research base and exceptional community links, we are looking for people to contribute to this successful growth. This role will both challenge and reward, offer flexibility and career development.

As College Manager you will provide strategic and operational management support for the Dean of the College of Health & Human Sciences. You are responsible for all administrative functions, budget and resource management and providing supervision to College administrative staff as well as contributing to the development and delivery of College and University policies and procedures.

You will evaluate, develop and manage complex and synergistic administrative policies and systems that support the activities of the College as well as creating and sustaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Your outstanding leadership and management skills and proven track record in building effective and high performing teams will see you succeed in this role. You will demonstrate initiative to assume responsibility for tasks and projects and come up with innovative solutions for strategic and operational issues.

A postgraduate level qualification in business management or another relevant discipline with experience or extensive experience and management knowledge with a combination of relevant experience and training is a requirement of the role, alongside demonstrated experience in financial planning and management.
