Apply your proven all-round analyst experience in business and technical matters, with emphasis on human resource system support and management.

We are a new world university. Like our namesake, Charles Darwin, we think differently. We innovate, embrace change, challenge conventions and look for better ways. We’re not about tradition or legacy, privilege or exclusivity. We care about people as individuals, and about our wider society. We’re about what we can give to the world, rather than what we take. We cannot build a new world without diversity of thought, so we bring together people with unique perspectives in an inclusive and supporting learning environment to help them connect, discover and grow. This is the CDU difference.

The Business Systems Analyst is an “all-rounder”, focused on both business and technical concerns. You form part of the HR Business Systems team and play a key role in the delivery of technical support for the University’s HR systems, and the provision of accurate HR analytics and reporting. This includes supporting all aspects of HR system management (upgrade, integration, configuration, patches, scheduled maintenance) as well as the delivery of HR Analytics to assist the organisation in making strategic and operational decisions including but not limited to recruitment, staff performance, development, remuneration and workforce planning.

You will be required to research problems, gather requirements, plan solutions and may project manage some small to medium projects, whilst maintaining a register of HR system level two issues to ensure they are appropriately documented, escalated and resolved in the timely matter.

To be successful, you require relevant experience and or training equivalent to a degree qualification in Information Systems, Information Technology or similar field. Experience using business reporting tools such as Oracle Business Intelligence, Power BI, and PL/SQL and experience with enterprise systems like AscenderPay/Taleo/Oracle HCM will be highly regarded.

Any suitably experienced/qualified internal CDU redeployees will be given priority consideration for this role.
